St. Begga of Landen (+December 17, 693)

St. Begga (615-December 17, 693) was the daughter of St. Pepin of Landen and St. Itta (Ida) of Metz and sister of two other saints.  St. Begga married Angislius (Ansegis), the son of St. Arnold of Meetz, and they had three children.  After his death, St. Begga founded a convent in Andfenne of the Meuse in Belgium where she was abbess.
