My wife was given the middle name of Elizabeth after her paternal grandmother. At her baptism she chose St Elizabeth as her patron saint. We only had one daughter, and we had always agreed on naming her after the same great-grandmother: another Elizabeth and she also had St Elizabeth as her patron. But when she grew up and married she was unable to conceive. Doctors said she would probably never conceive. But we prayed to St Elizabeth and never gave up. After 5 yrs of marriage she finally conceived and is having a little girl! Can you guess what her middle name will be? She is expected the same week as our daughter's birthday! So I got St Elizabeth icons for both of them!
