I recently placed an order for an icon of Saint Joachim and Anne. It was meant to be a wedding gift for me and my fiancée soon to be married in May. I was planning on hanging it over our bed in constant reminder of our Father who, as He did with Joachim and Anne, preceded over them in difficult times.
When I received my package, I noticed that it was a little heavier than I thought it would be. As I began to open the box I noticed two icons instead of the one that I ordered. Worried that the order must have been sent by mistake, I looked inside the box for an explanation, and, to my surprise, there was a note.
This was a beautiful gesture that Uncut Mountain Supply made for me. I now have a beautiful icon of St. George slaying the dragon which will go right above the front door of our future home. It will serve those who enter that this home is ruled by our Father, the One who gives us all strength. I appreciate your kindness very much during this Lenten season.
