At our parish we have a custom of giving an icon to parishioners who have lost a loved one. I was happy to find this beautiful icon for this purpose.
I manage a small bookstore in a small parish. The majority of the icons I purchase sit in the bookstore for a long time before they are sold. This one is always snatched up quickly. It is beautiful and "speaks" to the one who gazes upon it.
