This is an Athonite style prayer rope, made using a soft, 3-ply yarn which makes very pleasant, medium sized knots.
There is a wood bead every 25 knots and it is finished with a cross and no tasslel.
Approximate length is 10” (not including the cross).
Material texture is great, it was initially a bit small but after a few days I was able to make it large enough to fit around my wrist.
The Rope itself has 38 knots and is so small that only a childs hand could fit in it. It is more of a keepsake for myself than a prayer rope.
I would rather have a continuous knot rope without the 2 wooden beads & cross. Those things seem to interrupt the flow of the prayer
