The colors, wood, and resulting look and feel of this icon are superb. I also like depictions of the Archangel Raphael which feature his medicine box since this highlights his distinctive role as a healer in the book of Tobit. I also enjoy the distinctive bright blue wings. My only criticism is that there is something underwhelming about the face. It is not particularly handsome and the expression seems almost bored.
