The icon looks better in person. It truly captures the majesty of Christ our High Priest.

A picture on the internet does not do justice to how beautiful this icon is when you unbox it!

I'm very happy with this icon, it's well made and overall very beautiful! I love the contrast of colors between the blue vestments and the gold/yellow background.

    Inexpressable!

I first saw this icon in our Church, very large, hanging on the back wall just past the altar. My first few visits to Church, I don't know how, but I didn't notice it (it didn't help that I sat on the side rather than the middle of the Church). The first day I got up the courage to make my way up to the icons to bow and kiss them, on my way over to the Theotokos icon I stopped in the middle to bow (as I saw others do) and there my eyes met this huge wonderful icon of Christ the High Priest. I stood silent and couldn't move...only for a second, but it seemed much longer. Ever since, I now sit in the isle seat, in full view of that awesome icon. And this is why I purchased it!
