I've mostly purchased the smaller 8x10-ish size icons purely for organizational and budget purposes, but over time I began to feel bad I didn't have a very large icon of Christ at my prayer corner. This graphic had always struck me, showing Christ with a particular conviction and emotion in His expression, so I finally saved up to get a large version. As always with UMS they show excellent attention to detail in every aspect of the finished product, from the icon itself to the perfect packaging. This was worth the wait, and is now the centerpiece in my icon corner. Thank you all so much for the work you do!
Even more beautiful in person! The colors are rich and the expression of the Good Shepherd is deeply comforting. Shipped safely and quickly.
An excellent quality icon, can't wait to hang it up in my prayer corner!
It is exactly as it looks in the picture and is beautifully made. Well worth the wait.
Absolutely outstanding. Could not be better. But next time, send laminate in a FLAT box: it took too much effort to undo the curl from its semi-cylindrical shape....
But thanks for the great icon work!
Best in Christ,
...unworthy Afanassy...

nothing else to say except it was perfect
The Icon is what was described; the only issue is one corner of the backing is turned up slightly, and so is not completely flat. But other than that it's lovely.
I like the two-fold aspect of this icon: The Lord is our good shepherd AND the government is on his shoulders (us). The icon expresses a post resurrection victory as it shows the nail prints in his hands. His expression is just right for the one who protects and governs.
I am very pleased with this icon, the colors are very nice, not washed out or over saturated in the slightest, and the finish is smooth and does not give off a glare. My one complaint is the time it took to ship, which was about two weeks after the estimated time I was given when I ordered it. However, I understand that uncut mountain supply is very busy, and I was in no rush to receive these, so this really was not an issue.
