The face St. Matrona is the nicest face I have found of her; very compelling to prayer. Icon painters seem to have such a difficulty painting the faces of older or ascetic women: Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg and St. Mary of Egypt being other examples.
Also, it is nicely mounted and the sides are nicely finished. Buy the icon if you love St. Matrona.
