I purchased this icon set to hang next to my desk in the in the approximately 5 by 7" size. There is no problem with the images at all; the icons look pleasing together as a set, even though I understand they were not painted together. I absolutely am enthralled with these icons. That being said, The finishing on them leaves them somehow lacking in depth. I don't know how to describe it, but a clear varnish- like layer is sometimes applied to icons like this, I think, and that gives a little different look in my opinion.
I was so happy to find two of my favorite icons. The Hilandar Christ and Vladimirskaya Theotokos together in one, profound set. The colors and details are exactly what I hoped for. Ancient holy images to bless my home with.
