I ordered this as a Chrismation gift for a friend and fellow parishioner. I was pleased with the quality and she was absolutely delighted with it.
I have been thrilled with many beautiful icons from UMS, but this is the first that fell short. While the craftsmanship is still outstanding, the image—at least in my 8” x 10” size—is quite grainy and fuzzy when viewed closely. It is a beautiful icon, and it’s perfectly fine from a few feet away, but I was disappointed in the image quality compared to all the other icons I’ve purchased.
